Hmmm... c'mon... there must be something funnier to do...
The AMEE project aims at providing a multipurpose open source robot development platform. It is based on the Neo FreeRunner, which is a bit more than just a phone, and the Arduino microcontroller based board. In other words, it is like Lego Technic for "adults".
Oh, and by the way, in Red Planet, AMEE stands for Autonomous Mapping Exploration and Evasion. But mine is cooler.

Guess what, the project is under heavy development :)
The motor drivers have just arrived by mail and AMEE turns in circles, yeah!
